Mike Murphey

Mike Murphey is a native of eastern New Mexico and spent almost thirty years as an award-winning newspaper journalist in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest. At the age of 60, Mike revived his ambition to write a novel. He is the author of novels Section Roads, The Conman … A Baseball Odyssey, the Physics, Lust and Greed series, which includes Taking Time, Wasting Time, Killing Time, The Outlaw Gillis Kerg and Quantum Consequence, has received thirty individual book honors including grand prize in the humor and satire category for the Chanticleer National Book Awards. Mike splits his time between Spokane, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona where he enjoys life as a writer and old-man baseball player.
